Substitution of defects of the bones of anticnemions on the background of chronic osteomyelitis.

An open comminuted fracture of the tibia. Condition after intramedullary osteosynthesis complicated by osteomyelitis.

Treatment

1. Resection of the lower third of the tibia along the fragment of 8 cm in length with osteotomy of the upper third of the tibia in Ilizarov device.
2. Substitution of defect of the tibia in the process of above-mentioned manipulations.
3. The defect of the tibia is substituted successfully.

Results

Complete restoration of the bones of anticnemions.
