Complete restoration of the bones of anticnemions after traffic accident

Patient after a traffic accident with an open comminuted fracture of the bones of left anticnemion complicated by osteomyelitis.

Treatment

1. Resection of fragments of the middle third of the tibia along the fragment of 24 cm in length
2. Polylocal Ilizarov osteosynthesis
3. The defect of the tibia is substituted successfully.
4. Reconstruction of distraction regenerates and consolidation of docked fragments of the tibia in Ilizarov device.

Results

Complete restoration of the bones of anticnemions.
